Dyscourse Game

Review: Dyscourse is a survival adventure video game developed and published by Owlchemy Labs. The player takes on the role of Rita, a barista stuck on a desert island after a plane crash. The game was funded by a Kickstarter campaign and takes 60 to 80 minutes to complete. Dyscourse was released on March 25, 2015 for Windows, OS X, and Linux platforms. It received average reviews from video game critics.

Dyscourse Game Overview:

Dyscourse is a survival adventure video game.[1] There are six characters in the game. Rita, an art graduate working as a barista and the games protagonist; Steve, a pessimist; Teddy, a conspiracy theorist; Garret, a gamer; and George and Jolene, a couple with marital problems.[2] The game is set on a desert island with the six characters being the only survivors of a plane crash. The leadership of the group falls to Rita, allowing the player to make decisions about the group's actions. The choices have effects on the other survivors, including potentially triggering events that lead to their death. The game has numerous potential outcomes depending on the choices made by player, in which all, some, or none of the survivors are rescued by the end of the game. The player is encouraged to replay the game to make different decisions and in turn to obtain alternate endings.

More From Dyscourse Game:

A "memory marker" system is also used, which allows Rita or the other survivors to revisit areas without the need of a map.[3] After completing the game for the first time, the player unlocks the "Day Rewind" feature, which allows players to go back to the beginning of the day.[2][4]

An additional mode in the game, Indie Island, was later added as downloadable content. This mode offers a similar scenario to the main game. The player controls Emily Park, a game developer on her way to the Game Developers Conference for the first time. The plane on which she is traveling crashes on a desert island with ten indie developers, including Tim Schafer, Edmund McMillen, and Robin Hunicke, who have twelve hours to get off the island before they miss the conference.

Drake Of The 99 Dragons Game

Review: Drake of the 99 Dragons (also titled Drake) is a third-person shooter video game developed by Idol FX and published by Majesco. It was released for the Xbox on November 3, 2003 and for Microsoft Windows PC systems on June 14, 2004. The game stars Drake, an undead assassin who is on a quest to avenge his murdered clan, the 99 Dragons, by recovering their ancient "Soul Portal Artifact" from antagonist Tang. Tang intends on using the artifact to harvest the souls of dead beings and power his undead cyborg army.

Drake Of The 99 Dragons Game Overview:

Idol FX intended for Drake of the 99 Dragons to be the launchpad for a multimedia franchise, which would include comics and a potential animated television series. However, the contract they signed with Majesco gave them a mere six months for development, leaving little room for play-testing and resulting in the game being unfinished. As a result, it is often considered to be one of the worst games of all-time.

Deadfall Adventures Game

Review: Deadfall Adventures Game is a video game in the genre of action-adventure with elements of 3D-shooter and logic games.  The game was published in 2013 for Windows and Xbox 360 in 2014 it was ported to Linux and PlayStation 3.

Deadfall Adventures Game Review:

The game takes place in 1938 in the universe of Allan Quatermain created by Henry Haggard. 1938  The great-grandson of the famous adventurer Allan Quatermain James Lee Quartermean travels with the US government agent to Egypt in search of an ancient artifact called "The Heart of Atlantis."  However it turns out that this goal is pursued not only by them ...

Game process Deadfall Adventures Game:

The game consists of four large levels each of which the hero's task is to find the hidden treasures (although this is not a prerequisite for passing).

Also at levels you need to solve puzzles.  For example you need to direct light from mirrors so that it converges at a certain point;  This will move the slab and open access to the sarcophagus.  There are logical elements - for example you need to use dynamite to blow up the construction blocking the path or find the lever to activate the elevator.

Deadfall Adventures Game Full Version:

There are three types of treasures in the game.  Found artifacts allow you to replenish the level of health and stamina.  Search for treasure helps the compass and solve puzzles - Alan's notebook.  Also the hero can use a flashlight with which you can overcome the dark areas of the level and damage some enemies.

The character is opposed by a variety of opponents - in particular soldiers and monsters.  To destroy them different weapons are used.  Enemies can be lured into traps.

At the beginning of the game the hero is armed with two FN Auto-5 revolvers and Thompson's machine then it becomes possible to pick up the MP-38 grenades and other weapons.
Criticism and feedback

The game was met ambiguously by both critics and players.  The main complaints were in particular puzzles which despite the rather high complexity were solved relatively easily due to the presence of a notebook with tips because of which the puzzles "lost meaning."  On the Metacritic website the total score of the game according to the players' reviews was 53%.

GameCritics.com reviewers compared the game to the Tomb Raider series.  Critics rated the first part of the game more positively than the second noting the relative simplicity of puzzles.  The presence of monsters (for example mummies) was met positively as they "make the gameplay more interesting".  Also critics liked the "linearity" of the levels despite the presence of additional workarounds.  At the same time the soundtrack (namely the voice of the heroes) and game physics received negative reviews 4.

Information site GameRankings.com based on the reviews of other sites put the game score of 45 points out of 100 5.

Darkness Within 2 The Dark Lineage Game

Review: Darkness Within 2 The Dark Lineage turned even more frightening than the first part of the adventure game.  The protagonist reveals the secrets of his past in a place inhabited by ghosts.
An interesting finding was the use of developers to find specific items in the dark dynamic lighting.  You can choose from three game modes that affect the level of difficulty Standard Detective and Senior Detective.  In the interaction with the environment you get the keys to solving the puzzles.  Composers created using the soundtrack gloomy atmosphere from which chills go through the skin.
Darkness Within 2 The Dark Lineage - the continuation of an adventure game about Howard Loreyda.  The second part begins with the fact that Howard Loreyda run from the psychiatric hospital and into the nearby town Ahamend.  You will learn the secrets of his past and uncover the sinister plot.
